Financial Aid

How to Apply for Financial Aid

It's easy to apply for financial aid. We're here to help!

  • If you are a new student, apply for admission and be accepted for admission to Marian University.
  • File your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at fafsa.ed.gov. NOTE: As long as you are a Marian student, you must complete the FAFSA each year so your eligibility for federal and state aid can be determined.
  • Enter Marian University's school code 001821 where prompted on the FAFSA form.
  • If you need assistance, contact the Office of Financial Aid at 800.834.5494, 317.955.6040, or finaid@marian.edu.

Important notes

Your FAFSA must be received by April 15 in order to ensure you are considered for the maximum amount of state financial aid and grants.

  • If you are only applying for Marian University aid, you are not required to file the FAFSA although we strongly encourage you to do so since FAFSA information is also used to determine your eligibility for student loans.
  • We will notify you if you are required to provide the university with a copy of your federal income tax forms.
