Program description

With an associates degree in business, you can work in almost any industry in a variety of positions. Many students choose to earn an associate degree in business so they can learn business fundamentals, and a broad range of skills in accounting, finance, marketing, management, and operations.

A business degree opens the door to a wide selection of in-demand careers, and bachelor degree programs. Our supportive faculty teach you broad business knowledge and skills, while you earn real-world experience through our unique earn and learn internship program.

A new cohort begins classes together each summer, and will graduate together in two years. Without taking long breaks and attending class year-round, you are able to stay completely connected to supportive faculty and all the top-notch resources on campus.

To earn our associate degree, you will complete general education and core business classes.

Earn and Learn Class Schedule

Your class schedule is set up so you have time each week to attend class and participate in the earn and learn internship program. Your first two trimesters (July-December) you will prepare for your internships by participating in classes and workforce readiness programming. The beginning of your third trimester (January), you will be ready to start your paid internship.

Paths after graduation

Bachelor Degree options
After completing your associate degree, you will receive direct admittance to Marian University to complete your bachelor's degree. All of your credits will transfer, and most students will complete their bachelor's degree in two additional years.

You can also transfer your credits to another four-year institution. We will help you identify which path is the right fit for you, and develop a plan to ensure you continue to achieve your goals.
